Path of samadhi, path of contemplation truly is an inner journey that needs travelling individually all alone!

Srikrishna reminds Arjuna importance of establishing total control over five senses and mind. Control over senses and mind could only be established by nipping all desires in bud! For establishing control over desires... we had to control our ego!
